The iPhone 8 Plus takes up more room in your hand and your pocket than the iPhone 11. But is this necessarily a bad thing?
Obviously, this will depend entirely on your own personal tastes. Me personally, I never found Apples iPhone 8 Plus too unwieldy. I like its design, despite its age, and I think it still delivers a ton of value even today, in 2020.
And the phone itself is now very affordable like, less than $300 via Gazelle.
How Is The iPhone 8 Plus Bigger Than iPhone 11
Its actually pretty simple the iPhone 11 does not have a home button Apple did away with the home button on the iPhone X, adding in FACE ID for unlocking and a notch to house the sensors that power it.
This means all iPhones save for the iPhone SE 2020 released after the iPhone X have larger displays but overall smaller bodies.

The iPhone 8 Plus still uses TouchID and a home button and this technology do take up a fair amount of space at the bottom of the phone .
Removing this button frees up almost an inch of space and allows for smaller phones with thinner designs. And that is why the iPhone 8 Plus, despite having a smaller display than the iPhone 11, is still a bigger phone with respect to height, width, and overall thickness.
So What Does Your $200
The iPhone X uses the same A11 Bionic chip with 64-bit architecture, Neural engine, and Embedded M11 motion coprocessor as the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus. So your $200-300 is not getting you a faster processor.
It is getting you more screen size in less space than the 8 Plus. It is getting you more screen resolution, in that smaller space. It is getting you higher quality images as OLED technology.
It’s also getting you a substantially improved front-facing camera that’s a huge boon to selfie fans.
And, depending on whether you consider this a benefit or a shortcoming, you’re getting Face ID and losing the Home button and Touch ID.

As for NFC, there’s a new NFC chip with reader mode support that lets the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus read NFC tags installed in places like retail stores, museums, and more.

Once you provide the pixel dimensions to the printer, they can figure out how large the print can be. So, if you want to know how big you can print iPhone photos, the answer is in the photos pixel dimensions.
For example, if you wanted a 16 x 20 print of a photo of your child, the image would need to be at least 900 x 1200 pixels, assuming that the minimum dots per inch is 60.
DPI refers to the output resolution of the print. Its determined by dividing the longest length of the image in pixels by the length of the image in inches.
So, using our 900 x 1200 image we want to print at 16 x 20, we get the following: 1200/20 = 60.

The screen size does not affect the quality of an iPhone, but it is important to note a few parameters like the iPhone display size, which is the measure of the diagonals of the phone screen in inches. Another consideration is the iPhone screen size, which is the size the device uses for coordinates, and it is useful when using CSS and JavaScript. iPhone rendered pixels are the complete number of pixels rendered, and it is the value when the multiplier is applied to the screen size in points. iPhone 12 Vs iPhone 8 Battery And Charging
It’s hard to compare battery life between older and newer iPhones, in part because Apple never reveals the size of the batteries it inserts in its phones. Teardowns suggest the iPhone 8 had an 1,821 mAh power pack while the iPhone 8 Plus used a 2,675 mAh battery.

Strictly speaking, the iPhone 12 doesn’t measure up, lasting 8 hours and 25 minutes on a test the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus both aced. Not surprisingly given its smaller battery, the iPhone 12 mini fared worse, petering out before the 7.5 hour mark.
The culprit for the iPhone 12’s disappointing battery result? Besides that 6.1-inch OLED panel, we’d point the finger at 5G. When we turned off 5G and ran the same test over LTE, the iPhone 12 held out for 10 hours and 23 minutes â nearly two hours better.
The iPhone 8 was the first Apple phone to support wireless charging, and that’s continued with the iPhone 12. But Apple’s phones have now added support for MagSafe wireless charging, in which magnet-equipped chargers attach to the back of the phone for a more reliable charge. More importantly, MagSafe supports 15W wireless charging speeds, faster than the 7.5W supported through conventional charging pads.

If Apple makes the jump to a larger screen size for a future iPhone, the Moto X’s 4.7-inch display seems optimal.
Whenever we do a poll about what new features people would like to see most in a new iPhone, the No. 1 vote getter always seems to be “bigger screen” followed by “better battery life.”
