The iPhone’s touch screen is designed to react to the lightest touch of your finger, which is great when you’re navigating apps but not quite as useful when you’re trying to talk on the phone. If you regularly mute or end calls by accidentally touching the iPhone screen with your face, you can prevent these mishaps by locking the screen during the call. How To Make Existing Photos Phone Full Screen For Calls
Photos that were on your phone and assigned to contacts when you upgraded to your version of the iOS to iOS 7 need different steps. Those photos have been made into the small, circular images, so getting them to full-screen requires another change. You don’t need to take a new picture just edit the old one and you’ll be back to full-screen photos.
In iOS 14, incoming calls can also be set to display as a small banner at the top of the screen, rather than as full-screen photos. To get full-screen photos, go to Settings> Phone> Incoming Calls> Full Screen.
Openthe Phone or Contacts app, then tap the contact name.
Tap Edit underneath the current photo.
Tap Edit Photo.
Movethe existing photo a little. You don’t need to edit it. Just make a small change to its positionenough for the iPhone to register that the photo was changed in some small way.
The next time this person calls you, you’ll see the photo in full-screen.
There is one downside to this technique: there’s no setting to control this feature for all your contacts. You have to repeat this process for every photo you want to be full-screen for incoming calls.
How To Record A Live Conversation On An iPhone
The default Phone app doesn’t support recording phone calls. One of the easiest ways to record a live conversation on your iPhone, then, is to use a phone app that supports recording. One widely used and free app that fits this bill is other apps may require a fee.
Google Voice only supports recording incoming calls, not calls you make.
Follow these steps to use Google Voice to record live conversations:
Tap the three-line icon in the top left.
Move the Incoming call options slider to on/blue.
When you receive a call that you want to record, answer the call. Then tap 4 on the keypad to start recording. Tap 4 again to stop recording.
When you tap 4, a voice will announce that a recording has started, so there’s no way to record a live call without the other person knowing.
Your call recordings are stored in the voicemail tab in the Google Voice app.
Google Voice isn’t the only app that lets you record your calls. We’ve got other options at the bottom of this article. Many of these apps work by creating a three-way call with the call recording service. Call the service, then the person you want to talk to, and merge the calls for the recording to start.

Can I Change This Setting For The Phone App And Facetime
If you switch between the banner setting and the full screen setting for incoming calls on your iPhone, then it will affect both of these apps, as well as other apps that you have downloaded which can also receive calls.
This setting applies globally for all of these apps on your device. You cant adjust the setting for one app without affecting the rest of them. So, for example, you couldnt use banners for regular phone calls and full-screen for FaceTime. it would need to be the same setting for both apps.
How To Record Phone Calls On An iPhone Using A Third
A third-party app known as Rev Call Recorder is another good option for recording phone calls if you live in the United States and have a working US phone number. Rev Call Recorder is free to download from the App Store.
When you first open the app, youll need to confirm your phone number by adding it when prompted and entering the code you receive. The process is a little complex, but fortunately, the app offers a built-in tutorial.
Once thats done, tap Start Recorded Call, then choose Outgoing Call or Incoming Call. For outgoing calls, you need to call the Rev Call Recorder service, then call the person you want to talk to. After both calls are connected, tap the Merge Calls button to begin recording.
For incoming calls, the process is slightly different but just as simple. Once the call is complete, Rev Call Recorder will contact you when your recorded call is ready to download. Optional paid transcription services will also appear at this point.
The major advantage of Rev Call Recorder is that, unlike many other call recording services, the person youre talking to will see your phone number, rather than an unknown number.
Your calls are stored on another companys servers, though, so you probably dont want to use this service for private or sensitive matters.

Block Numbers On Android
The steps for blocking numbers on an Android phone vary based on the device and operating system version. You should be able to open the Phone app and select recent calls or call history. Tap the number you want to block and find the command that says block and/or report as spam. Confirm the request to block the number.
Some Android devices also allow you to block all unknown callers. While the process varies among different devices, you typically open the Phone app and go to the Settings menu. Find the option for blocking numbers and activate the feature. You can also manually add phone numbers that you want blocked.
Show Or Hide The Status Bar Battery Percentage
While the the battery percentage option in the status bar has remained an option on Touch ID models, Apple removed it when it introduced Face ID, but iOS 16 finally brings it back. Unlike with Touch ID models, Face ID-equipped iPhones have the numbers inside the battery icon, not beside it.
There’s a slight problem with the design though: when turned on, you can see the battery percentage in numbers, but the battery icon shows up like the battery is full even when it’s not. It can trick you that your battery is full even if it’s almost empty if you ignore the numbers. You can see what I mean in the middle screenshot below.
If you’re among the users who miss having the battery percentage in the status bar, go to Settings > Battery, then toggle on “Battery Percentage.” If you end up more annoyed with the battery icon looking full when it’s not, you can toggle it off or update your iPhone to iOS 16.1, which fixes the issue . Either way, you can always see the classic-style battery percentage by pulling down the Control Center .
