How Much Will The iPhone 12 Cost On Black Friday
The standard iPhone 12 is now $699 thanks to the recent launch of the iPhone 13. Since Apple is traditionally unlikely to offer up any further discounts we’re 99% sure this will be the upfront price of this handset on Black Friday.
The iPhone 12 mini is now even cheaper at $599, and, if you’re really looking to save some cash, the iPhone 11 is now $499. The bad news is the 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max are both discontinued now at Apple, so you’ll have to go for the more recent 13 and 13 Pro if you’re looking for a premium unlocked device.
iPhone 13 Deals This Black Friday
Its too early to say for sure whether theyll be heavy discounts on the iPhone 13 this Black Friday, however we can look at previous years to see what has happened and use that as a guide.
What we can say with almost certainty is that Apple will not be reducing the price of its latest iPhone through its own stores, whether that be online or on the high street.
Apples participation in Black Friday is usually very minor and youll likely only see it add a gift card or iTunes store credit as a bonus alongside a purchase. Theres not even any guarantee of that.
So, if you want to bag a cheaper iPhone 13 this Black Friday youre going to have to look elsewhere. In the past, weve seen the most savings on new iPhones come from those being sold on contracts, with the savings coming in either a cheaper upfront cost or reduced monthly payments.
You might also find networks offer more data than youd normally get for a similar price, so while this wont necessarily save you money it will give you more for the money you put down. We saw this a lot in 2020, with many deals offering huge amounts of data alongside an iPhone 12 Mini.
Of course, not everyone wants to sign a long-term phone contract and many are in the middle of a current deal, making the above far from ideal.
Other options could come from sellers reducing the price of the phones unlocked. Last year we did see some discounts on the iPhone 12 Mini, with Amazon knocking £20 off the device SIM-free.

An Apple Watch Could Cost $109 Or Less
If you want to try out an Apple Watch but don’t want to go all-in on the latest models, then Black Friday is a good time to look for deals. That’s when we could see the Apple Watch Series 3 drop to $109 or even less, as Apple has discontinued this model.
But the Apple Watch SE should also provide an affordable entry point if you’re looking for a newer smartwatch. The latest model starts at $249, but already this year we’ve seen the previous generation fall to $189. So it’s not unreasonable to expect an Apple Watch SE to hit $200 or $210 for Black Friday this year.

For most carriers, the focus will be on the iPhone 13, 12 and 11 but, there is another iPhone available that was likely to be slightly forgotten about – the iPhone SE.
Right now, a couple of carriers (Verizon and Mint Mobile_ are offering an iPhone SE for free with an eligible plan. Meanwhile, Visible includes a $100 voucher plus a free pair of headphones with an iPhone SE when you switch.
This is Apple’s cheapest handset right now and for most people, will be the perfect device. It costs a lot less than the next nearest Apple device but, won’t stack up in terms of specs.
The iPhone SE in many ways is a copy of the iPhone 8 with higher specs. This means it does have an older design compared to the 11, 12 and 13 but it does use the same chipset as the iPhone 11.
In the past, the iPhone SE has seen some significant discounts thanks to Black Friday and despite its age, we’d imagine this year to be the same.
On top of that, the iPhone SE doesn’t seem to be having the same stock issues we’re seeing from newer iPhones, meaning you won’t have to wait for it to be delivered.
Will There Be Black Friday iPhone 13 Deals
Yes, absolutely. The real question here is how good will this year’s Black Friday iPhone deals be. And, will they be better than the outstandingiPhone 13 deals we’ve already seen since these devices were launched.
For context, we’ve already seen both Verizon and AT& T give away these devices for free with a trade-in – and that’s for both new and existing customers. While both of these offers are still eligible with pricey unlimited data plans, it’s going to be hard for this year’s Black Friday iPhone 13 deals to outdo these initial offerings, that’s for sure.
We shouldn’t rule out a surprise, however. It could be we see a few more freebies being thrown in to sweeten the deal , or maybe even a return to Verizon’s ‘buy-one get-one free’ promotion – a deal that was commonplace last year but hasn’t seen much action recently.

But, even if this is true, it will likely mean retailers will have to limit the number of devices they sell.
