What Are The Cons
The main drawback to the upgrade program is that until you make all 24 payments, you don’t own your iPhone. That means you can’t resell it, give it away or do anything to it that would otherwise impact Apple’s ability to one day sell it to another customer.
Your iPhone’s resale value may be higher than 50% of the phone’s price tag, particularly if you’ve taken good care of your device. If that’s the case for you, when you trade it in for a newer model after paying half of it off, you’re losing out on the additional resale value.
While amount you can save ranges from model to model and the condition your phone is in, the difference between doing the upgrade plan trade-in and reselling your phone yourself could be as much as $75 or $100.
When asked to comment on what type of consumer the upgrade plan is best for, an Apple spokesperson directed CNBC Make It to the company’s press release on iPhone pre-orders.
The plan is also designed to keep you in Apple’s ecosystem, which the company is constantly monetizing in the form of a growing number of subscription services including Apple TV+, Apple Music and Apple News+. By committing to iPhone long-term, you may be setting yourself up to spend more money with Apple moving forward.
“Ninety-seven percent of Apple customers, once they’re on an iPhone, stay on an iPhone,” Wedbush Securities analyst Dan Ives tells CNBC Make It. “This is all about Apple looking to get further entrenched into the consumer spending ecosystem.”

This is a tricky one to answer, given that both the iPhone 14 and 13 have similar features. If you were hoping to get an iPhone at the Rs 60,000 odd price mark, the iPhone 13 is the easy choice to make. Plus during the sale season, the older iPhone 13 will get better deals, cashback offers, etc, and with an exchange, the final price could be lower. But if youre one who is upgrading to an iPhone after a gap of a few years and budget is not such a rigid issue, then the iPhone 14 Plus make more sense. iPhone 13 Pro Review: Verdict
The iPhone 13 Pro and its bigger brother are the best phones you can buy right now. This smaller Pro model is better suited for people who balk at larger phones. The battery life has vastly improved over past iPhone models, which is a serious point in this devices favor. And Apple has proven its prowess with cameras, with the iPhone 13 Pro producing some beautiful photos and videos.

You can easily prevent any app from tracking your exact location. In the Settings app, choose an application , tap Location and then toggle off Precise Location. Any app with Precise Location off will only know your approximate location, within a few miles.
Don’t toggle this feature off for apps that require exact location, like food delivery and navigation services.

Put The Address Bar In Safari Back On Top
The address in Safari migrated to the bottom of the screen with the introduction of iOS 15 — a welcome addition for those with smaller hands who had difficulty reaching it with one hand at the top. While this move might feel more natural, since it’s closer to the keyboard and where you typically place your thumbs, it can be off-putting since many people are used to seeing the URL bar near the top of the screen.

Is the iPhone 11 Pro Max still a viable option in 2022? I think so it has plenty of performance, a brilliant camera, and the battery life is superb. I ran one up until very recently and didnt have any problems with it whatsoever. In fact, had I held onto it and not swapped it for the iPhone 13 Pro I think I could have run it for another few years easily.
If youre looking to save some cash in 2022 but dont want to scrimp on your next phone, picking up the iPhone 11 Pro Max could be one of the easiest ways to do this. Youre getting a flagship-grade phone, albeit a slightly older one, and that means you get all the features normally reserved for Apples most expensive models things like its LiDAR sensor for instance.

iPhone 13 Pro: Software And Performance
The iPhone 13 Pro ships with iOS 15, the latest version of Apple’s iPhone software. As mentioned in my iOS 15 review, this iteration is more about streamlining the foundation that iOS 14 built before it. While iOS 15 works with devices back to the original iPhone SE, for the best performance, you’ll definitely want a newer device, such as the iPhone 13 or iPhone 13 Pro.
Since the iPhone 13 Pro has the A15 Bionic, iOS 15 runs incredibly fast. One of the advantages of the iPhone 13 Pro over the regular iPhone 13 is that it has 6GB of RAM instead of 4GB. Several years ago, with iOS 13, the limited amount of RAM was an issue because apps would often need to reload once you come back to them after an extended period. In my daily use of the iPhone 13 Pro, I honestly have not noticed that to be as big a problem as before. I’m sure that this is due to iOS 15 being more efficient with app management, but also having the extra bit of RAM with the Pro models helps out quite a bit.
Thanks to A15 Bionic and 6GB of RAM, the iPhone 13 Pro handles iOS 15 without breaking a sweat.
