If you arent looking for a long-term solution but would rather call a specific person without showing your number, you can block your caller ID on a per-call basis using a special code as a prefix to the number you want to call.
In the US, that code is *67. In certain European countries, that code is #31#.

What If I Get A Call From An Unknown Number
Sometimes blocked calls may show up on your phone as Unknown rather than No Caller ID. Maybe you dont want to hide your caller ID from everyone, but just certain calls you make. Even though theres no setting for this, you can use a prefix before you dial the number.
The code will vary depending on your country. For those in the United States, its *67.
Simply enter *67 and then the phone number youre calling. Instead of your name and number, the person youre calling with see Private, Anonymous, or a similar indicator.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find a list of prefixes by country.
To make sure the prefix you find works, do a test call to someone or yourself.
