Its impossible for us to read and analyze every single one of these agreements. Earpods And Power Adapter Controversy
Apple, through an environmental initiative, has removed the EarPods and power adapter from all new iPhone boxes, including the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro. It is claimed that removing these items would reduce e-waste and permit a smaller iPhone box, allowing more devices to be transported simultaneously to decrease carbon footprint. Apple now includes a USB-C to Lightning cable, incompatible with the existing USB-A power adapters that Apple previously supplied with its devices. Users can still use their existing USB-A power adapters and cables, but must purchase a USB-C power adapter sold separately to enable Qi fast charging.
In December 2020, a Brazilian consumer rights watchdog Procon-SP Foundation requested Apple to provide proof that not including chargers is beneficial to the environment. The watchdog argues that Apple removing the charger is anti-consumer and wants to force the company to include one as it claims the charger is an essential component.

Are The iPhone 12 Series Cameras Any Good
The camera system on the iPhone 12 Mini is the same youll find in the standard iPhone 12. That means youre getting two 12MP cameras on the rear of the device and a 12MP selfie camera hidden in the notch on the front.
You wont get the 2x telephoto camera of the iPhone 12 Pro and the 2.5x telephoto camera of the Pro Max. The iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max come with a new LIDAR sensor that improves focus in lower-light environments. They also get new software features like 4k 60fps Dolby vision HDR video capture and Night Mode Portrait Mode.
In total, there are three main lenses on the back, and one on the front. In announcing the iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max, Apple also noted the 2020/21 handsets would no longer ship with a power adapter or Earbuds. New packaging for the previously released iPhone SE , iPhone XR, and iPhone 11 will also come without the accessories.
As Lisa Jackson, Apples vice president for environmental policy and social initiatives, explained during the iPhone 12 unveiling:
Customers already have over 700 million Lightning headphones and many customers have moved to a wireless experience with AirPods, Beats, or other wireless headphones.
She continued:
There are also over 2 billion Apple power adapters out in the world and thats not counting the billions of third party adapters. So we are removing these items from the iPhone box which reduces carbon emissions and avoids the mining and use of precious materials.
Both statements are correct and make sense from an environmental perspective. When the biggest company in the world decides to no longer ship accessories with its best-selling product, fewer materials are used. Ultimately, thats great for planet Earth.;And yet, in an interesting twist, these products will now ship with a speedier USB-C to Lightning Cable, when previously they came with a Lighting to USB-A Cable. Meaning, most of the 2 billion Apple power adapters Jackson mentioned wont work with the newer cable. So instead of having unused Earbuds and power adapters, well now have unopened USB-C to Lightning Cables.

The Size Of The iPhone 12 Pro
The iPhone 12 Pro, which comes in stainless steel finishes, including graphite, silver, gold, and pacific blue, has 6.1-inch display with the Ceramic Shield front cover. Im of two minds about the iPhone 12. Theres no question this is a great phone overall, and many of the changes Apple has made to its most popular iPhone are for the better. Some may want to wait for the iPhone 13 this fall. The new iPhone promises even faster performance, better cameras, Touch ID in the display, a smaller notch and 120Hz displays . But nine months after its arrival, the iPhone 12 is still very much worth buying.;

Why iPhone 12 Doesn’t Come With A Charger
Apple says it doesn’t include a charger or EarPods with the iPhone 12 to reduce its environmental impact, but there’s likey another reason too.

What Features Will The iPhone 13 Include
Because the iPhone 12 was a pretty radical upgrade , we don’t expect the iPhone 13 to be another huge step up. Rather, initial reports point to more subtle aesthetic enhancements. These include a slightly larger, thicker camera bump, potentially to accommodate LiDAR sensors; a shallower selfie-cam notch ; and the potential introduction of an entirely new color.
Even on relatively subtle model changes, though, Apple still tends to throw in some excellent feature enhancements to try and convince you that it’s worth the upgrade. The iPhone 13 is rumored to possibly include some new camera features, like a periscope lens that enables a much better zoom range than current models support.
