How To Unsend An Email In The Gmail App
If you use the iPhone or Android Gmail app, the unsend option is also available.
When you send an email, youll notice a small bar at the bottom of the the screen with an Undo option. Click that before it disappears, and your email wont be sent.
But be quick! You only have 7 seconds to undo the send before the option disappears.
There is no way to increase the undo send time period in the iOS or Android Gmail app, unfortunately.
How To Unsend An Email In Gmail
Theres a built-in feature of Gmail that enables you to unsend emails in Gmail that youve already sent out, but theres a catch it only works on emails youve just sent out.
In other words, if you sent out an email an hour ago and youre desperately looking for a way to get it off the screen of the person you sent it to, Im afraid youre too late.
You can, however, prepare your Gmail account for future errors by enabling the feature right now. The feature itself is called Undo Send, and it does exactly what you think it does: it gives you the chance to unsend an email you sent too quickly, or by mistake.
To enable this feature, head to the Settings menu in Gmail. Under the General tab, a few lines down, youll find the Undo Send option.
Pay attention to the option to choose the cancellation period you have to unsend an email. These periods are 5, 10, 20, and 30 seconds. I recommend you give yourself the most breathing room by opting for 30 seconds .
Then, after sending any email, youll receive a Message sent notification in the bottom-left corner of your screen .
Youll have the option to cancel and dismiss the notification, or the option to Undo. If you click undo before the time limit is up, the message will never reach the inbox of your intended recipient.
Youll have plenty of time to revisit the message and polish it to perfection if you want to send it again.

Read Unsend Message On Instagram
Actually, the email messages will not be updated after unsending some messages, unless you receive some new DMs from the same sender which results in receiving a new email. In the newest emails, you can see that the conversation has been updated and some messages have been deleted. But since the earliest emails are still in your inbox, you can go there, view and read the messages, and even save the photos that have been sent to you after being deleted.
Thatâs it! So, go ahead, right now, and read and recover deleted Instagram messages.
Turning The Airplane Mode On
This step needs you to be fast on your fingers to unsend the iMessage. You can access the airplane mode from either the settings or the control center.
This however depends on the iPhone model you are using. If you are using an iPhone X or the later models, swipe down from the top-right corner of your screen.
If you are using an iPhone 8 or earlier models, swipe up from the bottom edge of your screen.
From there you will be able to locate the airplane mode icon, press it as fast as you can while the blue progress bar is loading. Make sure you do it before it gets to the end.
The blue progress bar represents the message being sent to the Apple servers. You will have to wait for about five minutes for the message to stop trying to resend itself.
