A great upgrade if you have an older phone
A great phone and major upgrade if you have anything older than anything from the iPhone 11 series. The iPhone color options are darker, the rear-facing camera makes you feel like you’re pretty professional, the responsiveness is fast, and it’s very comfortable to hold.
Love the simplicity
Upgraded from my old Note 10. While I loved my Note 10, I felt it was time to move on an upgrade. I decided to go for an Apple Product, because hey why not? While my iPhone experience was limited I have to say it’s been enjoyable. Easy to use, and no feature bloat either. Does just what I want it to do.

I expected better from Apple. My phone constantly overheated when I got mine. It’s not like I was using it for gaming either – just for Twitter and Tiktok. And it was while it wasn’t charged. I ended up getting a second one and even then it was overheating and I was starting to disconnect from 5g on and off. I just feel like this phone’s been too rushed.

Being a senior, the max is a great phone to have. It’s big enough so that I can read whatever’s on the screen without using my glasses.

Is Now A Good Time To Buy The iPhone 12 Pro Max
As noted above, the best time to buy ANY iPhone is when a new model or range launches. The best time to buy the iPhone 12 Pro Max, therefore, is once it has been replaced by Apples newer model, the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Buying last years flagship will save you, on average, 40% if you get one refurbished. And given that Apple and most networks have now discontinued the iPhone 12 Pro Max, a refurb unit is likely youre only option anyway.
But, again, this isnt actually a bad thing. In fact, Id argue it is a good thing for most people, and even more so for those that are looking to tighten their belts in 2022 and beyond. You get the phone you want for a lot less money .
And thats just good in anybodys book, right?
iPhone 12 Pro Vs iPhone 12 Pro Max: Price
The iPhone 12 Pro debuted at $999 for 128GB of storage. Upgrading to the 256GB model costs $1.099, and the 512GB version costs $1,299.
Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro Max made its debut at $1,099 for 128GB. The 256BG version costs $1,199 and the 512GB model is priced at a whopping $1,399 .
If you’re on the fence between the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, it’s good to know that you can get double the storage on the regular Pro for the same cost as the entry-level Pro Max at least back when the iPhone 12 Pro models were still on offer from Apple.
These days, Apple is focusing on the iPhone 13, with the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max among the models that Apple killed. You can still find both phones at other retailers and through wireless carriers. Just make sure the prices are lower than $999 and $1,099, as those are the new starting prices for the iPhone 13 models. The Wide lens in the iPhone 12 Pro Max has the same f/1.6 aperture, but it’s using a 47 percent larger sensor with bigger pixels that lets in a lot more light. Apple says low-light photos taken with the iPhone 12 Pro Max are 87 percent better, and images also feature more detail and better color.
The Telephoto camera has a longer focal length, allowing for 5x zoom instead of 4x zoom, and the Ultra Wide camera is the same between both models.
Notably, the Wide camera of the iPhone 12 Pro Max supports sensor-shift optical stabilization, a feature that’s previously been limited to DSLRs. Sensor-shift optical stabilization, as the name suggests, stabilizes just the sensor, allowing it to be kept steadier than before.
With this feature, the iPhone 12 Pro Max has much better optical image stabilization that cuts down on camera shake and blur from movement.
