Change Your Safari Design
Apple attempted to introduce an overhauled Safari design in iOS 15 with floating tabs and an interface that merged the tab bar and the URL bar, but the changes were not well received and Apple ultimately reverted to the standard iOS 14 Safari design.
Note that “Allow Website Tinting” is a feature that shows up when using the top bar. It causes the URL bar to turn the background color of the website when you scroll down on a page for a more seamless look.
Tip: You can also swap between the top and bottom navigation bars in Safari itself. Just tap on the “Aa” icon in the URL bar and then choose “Show Bottom Tab Bar” or “Show Top Address Bar.”

It was a long time coming, but 2020’s iOS 14 update finally brought the ability to choose your own default apps — at least for email and web browsing. That means that if you change these defaults, then when you tap a link or an email send button your iPhone will automatically launch the web browser or email provider of your choosing rather than Safari or Mail.
To get started, open the Settings menu and select the app you’d like to set as a default . You should then see a button that says Default Mail App or Default Browser App. Tap that option and select the app of your choosing instead of Safari or Mail.

When your iPhone 13 goes to sleep, there are two ways to wake it up. You can press the ‘Side’ button found on the right side of your device. However, you can also tap anywhere on your phones screen, as that action will wake up your device.
Now, to unlock and get to the home screen, swipe from the bottom edge. As you do that, youll see that your phones Lock Screen moves upwards. You can use a swift motion to dismiss the Lock Screen, which is when youll see your Home Screen filled with a grid of colorful icons.
How To Customize Assistivetouch
You can easily customize the AssistiveTouch by adding, removing some buttons. You can even delete all buttons except one which can function as the home button. To do that, follow the 3 simple steps:
Step 1: Open the AssistiveTouch settings and tap Customize Top Level Menu.
Step 2: Next on the Customize Top Level Menu page, you can tap any button and change it to perform a different function.
Step 3: To change the home button and get rid of other buttons, tap the minus sign until it only shows one icon. After that, tap the one button and choose Home.

Add Widgets But Not Too Many
Widgets can be useful, but they also take up a lot of space on your Home screen, so using them in moderation is key. Adding widgets can be done one of two ways. Either touch and hold a blank space on the home screen and then select the + icon that appears in the top left of the screen when app icons start jiggling, or swipe to the left to show the Today View, go to the bottom of the screen and select Edit, then select the + icon as before.
Only choose widgets that add value dont just randomly add a widget Stack containing multiple widgets in the expectation youll use them. I have added a calendar and world time widget to my Home screen, as I use them both daily, and having instant access is helpful. I also have a large Weather widget on the second Home screen. If you find you need more widgets but dont want to sacrifice space for apps, consider adding a new Home screen dedicated to widgets.
Organize Alerts With Notification Summary
Apple wants to help you manage your notifications in iOS 15, starting with the Notification Summary feature. Rather than letting notifications pile up on your home screen, you can schedule alerts that aren’t urgent to arrive in a bundle at a specific time of day. Important notifications like calls, direct messages and other time-sensitive alerts will still appear immediately.
To try this out, open Settings, press Notifications and tap Scheduled Summary.
You can decide which features you want to access when your phone is locked.

iOS 15 makes web browsing and sending email more secure by cutting down on the ways that companies can track your online behavior. iCloud Private Relay, for example, obscures personal information like IP address and location, which can be used to track your browsing across different websites. iCloud Private Relay works in the background and it does require a paid iCloud account, priced at $0.99 and up per month.
Make sure you have iCloud Private Relay turned on by following these steps:
Hide My Email, which also requires a paid iCloud account, lets you create different email addresses for each site, so you can disable them if you start getting spam or other unwanted content from someone you’ve interacted with. Hide My Email temporary addresses all forward to your main Apple email address and can be easily managed.
You can use Hide My Email in two ways. If you have iOS 15.2 or later installed, it’s as simple as opening up the Mail app and composing an email. In the From field, tap and then choose “Hide My Email” to automatically generate a random address that will forward to your inbox.

How To See Quick Actions With 3d Touch Or Haptic Touch On The Home Screen
On the iPhone 6s or later, you can press firmly on an app icon to bring up quick actions. Doing this involves either 3D Touch or Haptic Touch. The former uses capacitive sensors integrated into the smartphone’s display to sense three degrees of pressure in a user’s touch and responds differently based on the amount of pressure exerted. The latter doesn’t detect pressure. Instead, it registers how long you leave your finger on the UI element. When pressed for long enough on an app icon, you’ll see the list of quick actions.
Whether you’re using 3D Touch or Haptic Touch, these actions act as shortcuts for the app. Some apps have several quick actions, including dynamic quick actions that update based on the last person you contacted, article you read, show you watched, etc. Tap on an action to go directly to that feature or content in the app.
