Luckily, your iPhone automatically organizes different types of photos and videos into albums.
The albums are named according to the media type, e.g., Videos, Live Photos, Portrait, Long Exposure, Panoramas, etc.
To access these albums, go to the main list of albums by tapping Albums at the bottom of the screen. Scroll down to the Media Types section, then tap the album you want to open.
The example above shows images in the Portrait album. These are all of the photos that were taken using Portrait mode in the iPhone Camera app. .
Keep in mind that all of these photos and videos can also be found in the Recents album. The Media Types albums just make it easier to find a particular type of photo or video.
Adding Videos And Photos
Its easy to add videos and photos to an existing shared album, and the actions are the same regardless of the iPhone model youre using. Also, you can add images from the Photos app or from the album itself. Either way, the method is the same.
The last action is a bit different depending on your access point. If youre doing it from the album, tap the plus icon and add images or videos. If you access it from Photos, select the desired album and tap the Post button.
After you complete the action, all the people within the album will get a notification. And if you want them to add images or videos, toggle on the Subscribers Can Post option. You do that from the People tab within a shared album.
