iPhone 7 Vs iPhone 7 Plus
Physical size is the most obvious difference between the two phones. The iPhone 7 is 2.64 inches wide, 5.44 inches tall by 0.28 inches deep and weighs in at 4.87 ounces. The iPhone 7 Plus is 3.07 inches wide, 6.23 inches tall by 0.29 inches deep and weighs a little more at 6.63 ounces. Neither is exactly a small phone, but the Plus is noticeably bigger.
The screens are similarly different in size. The iPhone 7 has a 4.7 inch, 1334×750 display with a resolution of 326 ppi. The iPhone 7 Plus has a 5.5 inch, 1920×1080 display with a resolution of 401 ppi. The screen ratios are practically identical, so everything looks the same on both phones its just that its all a little bigger on the Plus.
To keep speed up while running the extra screen real estate, the Plus has 3GB of RAM to the regular iPhones 2GB.

Other than the size, the biggest difference between the two phones is the camera. The iPhone 7 has an upgraded version of the same camera that has been in iPhones for years. Its got a 12MP sensor and an f/1.8 lens that approximates a full frame focal length of 28 mm. The Plus has the exact same camera, as well as a second one with a 12MP sensor and an f/2.8 lens that approximates a full frame focal length of 56 mm. You can read more about it here.

The Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are almost identical in specs, with the exceptions being their physical size, cameras, display resolutions and battery capacities.
The size increase, extra camera functions, longer battery life and potential for sharper display images mean an extra £120 on top of the standard model though.
Ultimately, there is very little between these two devices so the decision will come down to your budget, whether you prefer a bigger phone or a smaller one, or whether the extra camera features and battery life can justify the slightly deeper hole in your pocket.

The iPhone X has a slightly larger screen than the iPhone 7, but its screen-to-body ratio is much better. Heres a comparison:

Two years later, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are certainly starting to show their age but they represent a great value, especially when compared to the iPhone 8.
The main difference between the iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 is that the iPhone 7 features an aluminum design and thus lacks wireless charging, whereas the iPhone 8 features a glass design and wireless charging.
The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are both powered by A10 Fusion processors. They feature the same screen technology as the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. The iPhone 7 uses a 4.7-inch display with 326 pixels-per-inch, while the iPhone 7 Plus features a 5.5-inch screen with 401 PPI.
Camera technology is also similar, with the 4.7-inch model featuring a 12MP lens and the 5.5-inch featuring dual 12MP lenses. However, the iPhone 7 camera doesnt have the ability to take Portrait mode photos, while the 7 Plus does.

It really comes down to size preference and the camera. If you want a compact phone, the iPhone 7 is cheaper and offers a great camera experience.

If youre a photographer, chances are youll want to take advantage of the dual-camera setup on the iPhone 7 Plus. Thats really what dazzled us about the bigger iPhone. The additional hour of battery life, bigger and sharper screen, and 1GB of extra RAM are also tempting. Given the choice, even with the higher price, wed pick the 7 Plus every time.

The iPhone 7 Plus resolution is expected to be one of the best of all smartphones for 2016. The iPhone 7 Plus screen resolution is projected to be 1920×1080 pixels.
The iPhone 7 Plus display size could be 5.5-inches diagonally in length and the iPhone 7 Plus display size may be roughly 7% smaller than the average smartphone with the Retina LCD display, but the iPhone 7 Plus resolution is still great for the smaller display size.
The rumors of the iPhone 7 have been saying that there will be two different display sizes and possibly two different model screens for the iPhone 7. Its not much longer of a wait until Apple finally releases the new flagship smartphone that supposedly is going to better than any iPhone that has previously been created by Apple, Samsung, BlackBerry or HTC.
