Apple has answered one of the few complaints I had about the iPhone XS Max by giving the iPhone 11 Pro Max more juice. Thanks to a more efficient A13 chip and display, as well as a bigger battery, this new phone lasts more than an hour longer on our battery test, which involves continuous web surfing over 4G LTE at 150 nits of screen brightness.
While the iPhone XS Max lasted a pretty good 10 hours and 38 minutes on our test, the iPhone 11 Pro Max’s battery lasted an average of 11 hours and 54 minutes, which lands the 11 Pro Max on our list of phones with the best battery life.
To put this runtime in perspective, the Galaxy Note 10 Plus lasted an average of 11 hours and 9 minutes, while the OnePlus 7 Pro was more than 2 hours behind with 9:31.

The iPhone 11 Pro has a 5.8-inch OLED screen, while the 11 has a 6.1-inch LCD display. When I look at the phones side-by-side, the screen on the 11 Pro looked better, brighter and showed off more details. It is a joy to watch videos and edit photos on.
The OLED screen on the 11 Pro supports HDR and has a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 compared to the 11’s 1,400:1. On paper that means the iPhone 11 Pro is capable of darker black levels and more color saturation. That said, side-by-side, the differences between the two screens are sometimes hard to notice. The New iPhone 11 Pro And iPhone 11 Pro Max Come With 18w Usb
We now have another evidence that Apple is slowly moving away from Lightning to USB-C. With the newly announced iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max devices, Apple will be shipping the new 18W USB-C power adapter and USB-C to Lightning cable. This will allow MacBook Pro uses to use their power adapters for charging the new iPhone. They dont have to carry two different power adapters anymore. Apple claims that you can get up to 50% charge in around 30 minutes with this new 18W adapter.
I hope Apple replaces the Lightning port in iPhone to USB-C port in the upcoming iPhones. It would further simplify the charging ecosystem for Apple devices. One sad news is that the new iPhone 11 still comes with the old USB-A power adapter and USB-A to Lightning cable.

It’s All About The Cameras
The iPhone 11 Pro features triple 12MP Wide, Ultra Wide and Wide cameras. By contrast, the iPhone SE only offers a wide-angle camera. This difference means the former includes optical zoom out, night mode, and auto adjustments. The larger device is also the one that features a TrueDepth camera, alongside Animoji and Memoji. By contrast, the iPhone SE only offers a FaceTime HD 7MP camera.
Despite this, the two iPhones also have similar camera features. For example, they both offer portrait Lighting with six effects and optical image stabilization. Additionally, you’ll find True Tone flash with Slow Sync on both models, and 4K video recording at 24 fps, 30 fps, and 60 fps.

iPhone 11 Vs iPhone 11 Pro Vs iPhone 11 Pro Max Screen
As for the screen, youre getting a 6.1-inch LCD one with a 828 x 1792 resolution on the iPhone 11, while the iPhone 11 Pro has a 5.8-inch 1125 x 2436 OLED display and the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a 6.5-inch 1242 x 2688 OLED.
The OLED screens are dubbed ‘Super Retina XDR’ and should be superior to the LCD one, and in all cases this is basically the same setup as the previous models though there are improvements in the quality of the screen. For example, the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max have a 2 million-to-one contrast ratio and a maximum brightness of 1,200 nits.
The standard iPhone 11 can’t quite match that, coming in at a 1400:1 contrast ratio and 625 nits. Plus, while the two iPhone 11 Pro models have 458 pixels per inch, the iPhone 11 has less at 326, so it’s not quite as crisp.
The iPhone 11 also has a thicker border around the outside of the screen, leaving it looking less high end, and it lacks the HDR support of the Pro models, as well as looking a little washed out compared to them in our tests.
We dont want to sound too down on the basic iPhone 11 while its screen is worse than the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, thats expected as it costs less, and its still good for the money. As for the Pro handsets, theres less to choose between their displays, other than the size.
New Ultra Wide Camera
The iPhone 11 Pro gets a whole new camera. And its an ultra-wide sensor! The 12MP Ultra Wide sensor has an f/2.4 aperture. It basically allows you to zoom out 0.5x from the regular shot. It gives you a 120-degree field of view at a 13 mm focal length thereby giving you 4 times the scene view.
Using this camera you can take some amazing cinematic shots. The best part is that all of this works seamlessly in the camera app. You dont need to understand anything about the three cameras. Just select the zoom levels and youre good. Zoom in 2x using Telephoto lens and zoom out 0.5x using the Ultra-Wide lens. All in all, you get 4x optical zoom in total.
