You Like The Features Of Older iPhones
There are times I miss the Home button on my old iPhone 7, primarily because it supported Touch ID, where users can log in to their phone or access certain apps requiring passwords by using their fingerprints. Plus, if you’re not a fan of the larger iPhone screens, it’s easy to hang on to that older iPhone 6S, for example, with its 4.7-inch touchscreen.
iPhone 6s Leaked Photos
At the end of June, photos that appear to show the iPhone 6S emerged online, representing what could be our first look at the next iPhone. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like the iPhone 6S is going to have some of the features we’d been hoping for, including a new dual-lens camera and a tweaked design that removes those annoying antenna lines.
The images, which come from a 9to5Mac source that is apparently familiar with Apple’s supply chain, show a design that looks identical to the iPhone 6, aside from some internal changes that hint at new components.
The photos also show a new Qualcomm chip that is believed to be capable of providing LTE download speeds of up to two times faster.
Following the leaked images shown above, further images from Engadget emerged, showing what appears to be a schematic diagram for the iPhone 6S. The images allegedly came from a source from a Chinese supply chain, and appear to reveal that the new smartphone will be 0.2mm thicker. That lines up with several other rumours about the introduction of a Force Touch display, as detailed below.
Then, at the end of July, an image of what is claimed to be a front panel destined for the iPhone 6S emerged on the web, showing essentially the same design. However, some reports have claimed that the iPhone 6S will have stronger aluminium to prevent a repeat of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus bendgate.

Apple played the catch-up game with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and introduced water and dust resistance, dual cameras , and a better battery life. The iPhone SE was a special edition, which had a look similar to that of the iPhone 5 and was targeted at customers from the lower price bracket.
The iPhone 7 32GB was priced at $649 and the iPhone 7 Plus 32GB at $769. The prices in India started at Rs 60,000 and Rs 72,000, respectively. The iPhone SE 16GB was priced at $399 and launched in India at Rs 39,000.

Some iPhone 6s users are reporting problems with the Touch ID sensor overheating.
A report in the Daily Mail suggests that the Touch ID sensor is getting too hot and therefore and not working in some models. Its suggested that users hard reset their iPhone by pressing the on-off switch and holding the Touch ID button until the phone shuts down in order to solve the problem. .

Up until this point in iPhone history, Apple had been releasing one phone per year. In 2013, this changed with the release of the iPhone 5C and 5S.
Although neither phone was markedly different from the iPhone 5, this change did make things more interesting. With the 5C, the most significant changes were with the design. The 6s May Have The A9 Chip And 2gb Ram
Despite their previous quarrels, Apple and Samsung will reportedly work together on the A9 processor, which will arrive on the iPhone 6S. Samsung reportedly started production on the A9 processor in mid-December, based on reports from Koreas ET News. The chip will be manufactured using 14nm FinFET technology, which should use 35 percent less energy and offer 20 percent more power. The A9 chip may also be 15 percent smaller than 20nm processors, thanks to the 14nm technology, and that means more space for battery packs and other components.
Additionally, the Taiwanese media hints that Apple may finally boost the RAM on the iPhone 6S. The next-generation iPhone may pack as much as 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM, which doubles the devices bandwidth, but consumes very little power. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo later stoked the fire with a report that the iPhone 6S will be powered by 2GB of RAM. In late June, Chinese site Sogi claimed that the phone will have 2GB of RAM, too. An August report from 9to5Mac also mentioned the 2GB RAM spec and the A9 processor.

After some years of releasing iPhones that were more or less the same as the previous years version but with slight improvements, Apple once again went for shock value when it released the iPhone X, a moment that was supposed to mark a new beginning in the history of the iPhone. Apple also broke with recent tradition when releasing this phone by only offeing one version of the device.
All versions of the iPhone that have been released since 2017 have been modeled off the iPhone X, and we can expect that to continue in the future. But no one really knows for sure.

Overall I Love The iPhone 6s But Dont Buy One
My experience with the iPhone 6s has been mostly good, except for the battery life, which is something I cant get past. But for such an old device, Ive had a great experience using the iPhone 6s, even five years after its release. And the craziest part is that I know Im not the only one.
Coincidentally, while I was browsing Reddit instead of, you know, finishing this article, I stumbled upon a post written by user Yoyoyobank3, in which they explain their own experience with the iPhone 6s.
Although it seems they switched to the iPhone 6s by choice, their experience has been similar to mine. They enjoy the overall experience but they still have some complaints with the display, the camera, and, you guessed it, the battery life.
Overall, they seem to be pretty satisfied with the iPhone 6s, as am I. And although Ive enjoyed my time with the iPhone 6s, I dont think Ill be using it much longer.
Im not too concerned with the camera or the display, but the battery life is a big issue in my opinion. Since Im not staying home all that often nowadays, as I know I should, I need an iPhone that I know will stay awake with me for most of the day.
iPhone 6s Rumours: ‘seven
According to a Telegraph rumour in late August, Intelligent Energy, a UK-based company, has come up with a hydrogen-powered battery that fits in iPhone 6 cases.
The British company has already produced hydrogen-powered chargers for smartphones, but this time it has devised such a small fuel cell that it would fit within an iPhone. The cell would combine oxygen and hydrogen together to produce electricity the resulting energy would be so powerful that it could make the iPhone’s battery life last for up to seven days without charging.
However, if the claimed cells were integrated into the next-generation iPhones, this would have specific repercussions.
Design-wise, the new iPhone would need to incorporate outlets on its back to let steam out. The reaction between oxygen and hydrogen would produce water vapour, which would damage the device if not released. And in terms of charging, you wouldn’t be able to plug your phone into a standard wall socket – you would need specific, dedicated sockets.
According to the Mirror, Intelligent Energy is collaborating with Apple to integrate the technology in the next iPhones.
Reportedly, the new iPhone would have both a lithium-ion and hydrogen-powered batteries “to give people a path they are comfortable with”.
According to the report, the iPhone 6S will have a 1715mAh battery compared with the 1810 mAh battery in the iPhone 6, while the iPhone 6S Plus will have a 2750 mAh battery compared with the 2910 mAh battery in the 6 Plus.

Generation 1: The iPhone Se
Apple has also brought back the iPhone SE after a 2-year hiatus. The original iPhone SE came out in 2016 and was a low-cost alternative to the iPhone 7 that came out the same year. The brand was however discontinued in 2018.
Apple revived the name in April 2020 with a new 4.7-inch device that looks like an iPhone 8 with features similar to those of the iPhone 11.
Available in red, black and white, the new iPhone SE has a front and back glass cover and a color matching aluminum frame in the middle. Like its counterpart from 2016, the iPhone SE comes at a budget retail price. The SE is available in three internal memory configurations 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. All iPhone SE versions have 3GB of RAM.
This device is aimed at users who want top-notch performance from an iPhone but feel like the flagship iPhone 12s price is too steep.
Since the iPhone SE is physically identical to the iPhone 8, it continues to feature thick top and bottom bezels. The top bezel accommodates the 7-megapixel front-facing camera and microphone while the bottom bezel includes a Touch ID Home button thats also a fingerprint reader.
The iPhone SE is the only iPhone in Apples current lineup that features Touch ID over Face ID. Like other iPhones, it still uses Haptic Touch for Quick Actions and contextual menus, with 3D Touch, which is currently removed from the iPhone 12 models.
