Occasionally, owners of Apple’s products encounter a problem that needs fixing. Be it a sticking key on a MacBook Pro keyboard, an issue with an iPad display, or something else, it’s likely that at some point something goes wrong and needs to be repaired.

How And Where To Get Your iPhone Repaired
Despite stores closing and suspending certain services during the COVID-19 pandemic, you can still turn to Apple, Staples, and independent repair shops for tech fixes, from screen repairs to battery replacements.
If there is something wrong with your iPhone, Apple can come to the rescue. Under normal circumstances, you would bring your device to a nearby Apple Store or authorized service center to get it fixed. However, in the time of COVID-19, many Apple Stores around the world are still closed. What can you do?
At this point, there are limited options available. You can mail the phone to Apple for repairs. Staples is still open and offers in-store repairs. If these choices don’t work for you, independent repair shops may still be open in your area.
How To Check If Youre Still Covered
If youre unsure about when you purchased the AirPods, Apple has a tool to check if theyre still under warranty. Its worth noting that this tool can also be used to check the warranty status of any Apple product. Heres how it works.
Go to Apples Check Coverage website. There youll have to supply some information about your AirPods.
Type the serial number into the field in the center of your screen then type the Captcha code in the next field and click Continue.
Youll find the serial number on the underside of the lid of your charging case. Alternatively, you can find it on the original packaging next to the bar code.
Finally, if the AirPods are connected to a device, you can go to Settings > General > About > AirPods for the number.

The Apple iPhone Warranty
AppleCare is the standard iPhone warranty issued to newly purchased iPhones. This is a limited warranty that lasts for one year.
AppleCare+ on the other hand is paid and it adds 90 days of complimentary technical support.
The AppleCare warranty covers all manufacturing defects on an iPhone for one year beginning from when the iPhone was purchased.
Both iPhones purchased from Apple or third-party retailers have warranty so long as it is yet to expire. As mentioned before, the warranty is limited, which is very important to note. It only stands if the iPhone is used following the Apple iPhones user manuals.
If you notice any defect within the warranty period, you take the iPhone to an AppleCare location for either repair or replacement. For repair, the defected parts will be replaced with new parts. If its a big job, you may even get a replacement iPhone.
Whichever option, you pay nothing. You can also request a refund and get your money back.
The Apple iPhone warranty does not include consumable parts. An example of this would be the battery which is bound to deplete with use. Go to Settings> General> About.

So What Does That Apple Warranty Cover
That brings us to the question of what exactly is covered by Apples warranty, either the standard one-year version or any of the extended ones. If you look at the paperwork that Apple gives you when you buy a new iPhone, it should spell out explicitly what can happen to the phone that will make it eligible for replacement or repair.
Essentially, there is a single category of problems with the phone that is covered under the warranty. That would be manufacturing defects. In other words, anything thats wrong with the iPhone when you bought it or that comes to light within the first year of you purchasing it, for which you are not responsible, would be covered. If you bought an extended warranty, then the same thing is true for the first two years, or three years, whatever the case might be.
That description might apply to any one of a number of things. For example, you might not be able to turn the phone on, despite your best efforts to do so.
