Fortunately, Apple has made it easier than ever to recharge your iPhone despite making you pay extra for a charging brick. The $39 MagSafe charger offers 15W wireless charging, and it’s easy to snap the charger on your iPhone 12 because it uses magnets.
MagSafe is not particularly fast, though, with our testing figures confirming that the battery level was at just 39% after 30 minutes of charging. You can also opt for a $19 20W wired charger that should get you to 50% in in 30 minutes.

Dont Use Apples Magsafe Charger With The iPhone 11
Apple now makes a wireless charger called MagSafe. It has a built-in magnet that helps it attach and align to the built-in charging coils on the iPhone 12 series. But while you can technically use the MagSafe charger with non-iPhone 12 models, you should avoid doing so, reports MacRumors:
The MagSafe Charger is technically able to be used with older iPhones, but its not a good idea because the charging with non-iPhone 12 devices is so slow.
We did two tests with the iPhone XS Max, draining the battery down to 1 percent, putting it in Airplane Mode, and then charging for a half an hour.
In the first test, the MagSafe charger charged the iPhone XS Max to 13 percent in 30 minutes, and in the second test, it charged the iPhone XS Max to 14 percent in 30 minutes.
Weve tested a lot of Qi-based wireless chargers and have never seen 7.5W Qi charging speeds that slow. For reference, a 7.5W charger is able to charge an iPhone to about 25 percent in a half hour.
iPhone 11 Pro Max And Ios 1: New Feature
For now, iPhone 11 devices ship with Apple’s new iOS 13 software, and although Apple didn’t make any groundbreaking changes to its mobile OS, there are several handy improvements.
Dark Mode makes reading content for longer stretches easier on the eyes, and there’s a redesigned Reminders app that makes it easier to create and organize your various to-do lists. The large numbers next to various lists provide extra incentives to knock things off.
Other iOS 13 highlights include Sign in with Apple, which is designed to be a more private way to sign into various apps than Facebook or Google. And there’s a rebuilt Maps app with street-level images via a new Look Around feature.
This fall iOS 14 will bring much bigger changes to the iPhone interface, including widgets on the home screen a tidier new App Library view, pinned conversations in messages and a Translate app. iOS 14 also brings a more compact design for Siri and spatial audio support for the AirPods Pro for more immersive sound.

iPhone 12 Vs iPhone 1: Bottom Line
The iPhone 12’s upgrades are plenty, from 5G and a faster A14 Bionic processor to new display sizes for both the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Max. And, if you’re really into photography, you’ll enjoy the better low-light performance on the regular iPhone 12 and faster auto-focus on the iPhone 12 Pro models.
Are all of these differences be enough to get shoppers excited? It certainly doesn’t hurt that Apple’s made its new iPhones thinner and sleeker, despite all those additions. The iPhone 11 remains a good value if you’re on a tighter budget, but we’d check out the latest iPhone 12 deals before you decide.

When it comes to pure capability, theres no doubt that the iPhone 11 Pro is the better option for creatives, thanks to its more flexible triple-lens camera system and OLED screen thats superior for brightness and sharpness . The Max also offers the best battery life of the three, which is important for a day of intensive work.
However, both iPhone 11 Pro options are a lot more expensive, and given that the iPhone 11 offers the same colour accuracy on the screen, is just as capable at running apps and opening large files for viewing, and offers better battery life than the smaller 11 Pro, its still a really great buy. Also consider that the iPhone 11 Pro is no longer in production, which means a new, factory-sealed handset may be harder to come by if you care about that, of course.
Wed also suggest that people looking at the iPhone 11 Pro for its screen may be better served looking at the new iPhone 12, which has a 6.1-inch screen but with an OLED display and offers similar sharpness to the 11 Pro. The iPhone 12 is also more expensive than the iPhone 11, but cheaper than the 11 Pro, so if its just the screen that you were thinking of upgrading to an 11 Pro for, youre better off going with that.
We think most people will choose which to go for based on the budget they have in mind, and in all cases youll get a powerful phone with excellent screen quality and high-quality cameras.

Once again Apple has bundled a pair of the wired EarPods inside the box, however the iPhone 11 doesnt come with AirPods.
AirPods are Apples pair of truly wireless earbuds. They look very much like the EarPods, just with the wires chopped off. They come with a cute little case that both protects the dinky buds when theyre not in use and keeps them charged. The latest iteration of AirPods also can be configured with a Qi-enabled wireless charging case. With this, you can charge up the buds without plugging in a Lightning cable, as long as you have a Qi pad about.
Considering the AirPods can cost up to £199/$199 it is hardly a surprise Apple isnt bundling a pair with its iPhone 11 series, even if they are pricey phones. The EarPods that do come with all models of the iPhone 11 seem to be unchanged from previous years and still come in a glossy white finish with a remote control on the wire. iPhone 11 Pro And 11 Pro Max Features
Apple has announced an iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max that will retail for $999 and $1,099.
Color-wise, theres a new midnight green color, a refreshed space gray, refreshed silver, and a new gold finish. Apple is also promoting a wider dynamic range display called Super Retina XDR. As was rumored, it has a new triple camera system a triangular array of lenses in a rectangular camera bump.
Apple has added the ultra-wide lens on both the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max, which is shown in the Camera app as a 0.5x button. All a user has to do is just zoom out to see more and take wider shots, from 0.5x to 2x. The ultra-wide has an f/2.4 aperture with a 120-degree field of view.
There are also upgrades to the telephoto and wide-angle lenses, including 100% Focus Pixels. There is a new Night mode to take illuminated low-light photos similar to the Google Pixel Night Sight feature.
Apple is using computational photography to fuse photo data from all three lenses in order to improve image detail. A technology called Deep Fusion combines nine images using a neural network analysis on every single pixel. Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Phil Schiller described it as computational photography mad science.
Like with the non-Pro version, Apple has upgraded the front camera with a 12-megapixel sensor. The camera is also wider so you can now rotate to landscape on the selfie cam to fit more people into the frame. There is also slow-mo on the front camera for the first time.

Water And Dust Resistance
The iPhone 11 has an IP68 water resistance rating, which is up from IP67 in the previous-generation iPhone XR. It’s rated to survive a depth of up to two meters for up to 30 minutes. Two meters is double the depth rating of the iPhone XR, but half that of the iPhone 11 Pro.
The iPhone 11 Pro has is able to stand up to submersion in water up to four meters deep for up to 30 minutes.
With an IP68 water resistance rating, the iPhone 11 can withstand splashes, rain, and brief accidental water exposure, but intentional water exposure should be avoided. Apple warns that water and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and deteriorate as a result of normal wear.
Apple’s warranty does not cover liquid damage to iOS devices so it’s best to use caution when exposing the iPhone 11 to liquids.
