Apple, through an environmental initiative, has removed the EarPods and power adapter from new iPhone boxes starting October 2020, including the iPhone 11. Removing these items is claimed to reduce e-waste and permit a smaller iPhone box, allowing more devices to be transported simultaneously to decrease carbon footprint. However, Apple now includes a USB-C to Lightning cable, incompatible with the existing USB-A power adapters that Apple previously supplied with their devices. Upgraders can still use their existing iPhone power adapters and cables, but users wanting fast charging capabilities will have to purchase a USB-C power adapter separately.
What Colours Does The iPhone 12 Pro Come In
iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are available in some less adventurous colours but stylish nonetheless these variations being Gold, Silver, Graphite and Blue.
Like iPhone 12, the new colour addition to the Pro line-up is the Blue variant. Ahead of the launch, it seemed like the new dark blue may only come to the Pro line-up replacing the Green of last year however, it is available on the regular model too.
The Green colour was a bit of a departure of the understated colours of the iPhone X and iPhone X of previous years so many may be sad to see it go, even if dark blue fans are quids in.

“People tend to gravitate towards colors that communicate who they are,” said Sandy Sampson, executive committee member and vice president of communications and PR for the Color Marketing Group, a not-for-profit international association of color design experts who forecast color directions.
The association between nature and green is pretty well-known. Those who gravitate to a green iPhone may be concerned about climate change or just enjoy the soothing environment of the outdoors.
“Green could mean you are a eco-conscious worker, heavily into recycling and caring for the planet,” said Beck Beach, a lead UX designer.
Further, Beach continued, Apple’s new midnight green iPhone, may appeal “to members of the military or those people who don’t want to stand out.”
The opposite may be true for purple fans. Purple iPhone owners, said Beach, may enjoy “standing out at work and taking on multiple projects to showcase your expertise.”
Meghan Stewart, senior director of B2C sales and color consultant at Paintzen, noted purple’s regal flair, as it was once the color of royalty. The purple iPhone owner, she said, is a “reliable friend who is highly creative, sensitive and generous.”
Deeper colors such as purple and midnight green, she continued, “exude elegance, comfort and stability.”

The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max are equipped with Face ID, the facial recognition biometric authentication system that Apple has been using since 2017. Face ID components are housed in the True Depth camera system in notch on the front of the iPhone.
Apple in the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max has introduced an updated TrueDepth camera system that uses new hardware. It’s 30 percent faster than before at unlocking the device and authenticating passwords and purchases, plus it is designed to work from a wider range of angles.
Face ID is used across iOS for tasks like unlocking your iPhone, allowing access to third-party passcode-protected apps, confirming purchases in iTunes and the App Store, and authenticating Apple Pay payments.
Face ID works through a set of sensors and cameras built into the TrueDepth camera system in the iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max. To create a 3D facial scan that maps the curves and planes of each unique face, a Dot Projector projects more than 30,000 invisible infrared dots onto the surface of the skin, which are then read by an infrared camera.
This facial depth map is then relayed to the A13 Bionic processor where it is transformed into a mathematical model that the iPhone uses to make sure it’s you attempting to access your iPhone.
The A13 Bionic chip with built-in Neural Engine means that Face ID can adjust to minor facial changes over time, so if you grow your hair longer or grow a beard, Face ID adjusts and continue to unlock your iPhone.

The iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max appear to have 4GB of RAM that’s available to apps and the iOS system, but it is unclear if there is extra RAM that’s dedicated to the camera as rumors have been mixed. We’ll need to wait for more information to determine just what’s inside.
Leaked benchmarks have indicated that there’s 4GB RAM in the two devices, but benchmarks are able to be faked. A leak from a Chinese source has said there’s 6GB, but it won’t be long before we know for sure.
