The iPhone 12 Pro Max is a beast of a phone compared to the regular iPhone 12 Pro. Its really the difference between having a flagship phone you can comfortably use with one hand and, well, not.;
But in exchange you get a much more expansive and immersive display, which not only fits more content on the display at once but gives you a bigger keyboard for typing and a mini movie theater in your pocket.;
The iPhone 12 Pro Max looks more premium than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. And thats because of the new phones sleeker-looking flat edges. The polished gleaming gold stainless steel on my unit was particularly eye-catching. Its the smartphone equivalent of jewelry. However, the finish picks up fingerprints in a hurry.
Besides gold, the other color options include the more ho-hum silver and graphite, as well as the head-turning Pacific Blue I really like on the regular iPhone 12 Pro.
The notch on the iPhone 12 Pro remains pretty large, but the TrueDepth camera still comes in very handy for Face ID. I just wish Apple found a way to integrate Touch ID in the display or the power button like it did for the new iPad Air.;
At 6.33 x 3.07 x 0.29 inches at 8.03 ounces, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is a bit heavier than its predecessor. But you get a bigger display in roughly the same size, as Apple trimmed the borders around the screen.;

The iPhone 12 Pro Max came out last November 13 with a starting price of $1,099/£1,099 for 128GB of storage. Upgrading to 256GB costs $1,199/£1,199, and the 512GB version costs $1,399/£1,399.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max generally costs $100/£100 more than the regular iPhone 12 Pro regardless of the storage.;

iPhone 12 Pro Max Review: 5g
The iPhone 12 Pro Max supports every flavor of 5G, including sub-6GHz and mmWave. I tested the phone on T-Mobiles network, and saw solid speeds in central New Jersey but nothing blazing.
Using theSpeedtest.net app, the iPhone 12 Pro Max maxed out at 211 Mbps for downloads and 77.5 Mbps for uploads.;
Like other iPhone 12 models, the iPhone 12 Pro Max can automatically switch to 4G via its Smart Data Mode. This comes in handy mostly when the screen is off, such as when youre streaming music.;

What Kind Fo Charger Do I Need For Magsafe
MagSafe offers a maximum charging output of 15W when connected to an iPhone with MagSafe, and Apple stresses the need for a 20W charger. You could get Apple’s 20W charger to use with MagSafe and call it a day.
If, however, you want to use a third-party charger, maybe one that’s a bit less expensive, there are a couple of essential stats specs that it needs. First, it need to explicitly support USB-C PD, or Power Delivery, which specifically uses USB-C for power. Second, your charger needs to support charging at at least nine volts at 2.2 amps . If your charger meets both of these specification along with supporting 20W charging, then you should be good to go.

The iPhone 12 series has been replaced by the iPhone 13 range. But can you still buy the iPhone 12 Pro Max?
Apple killed the iPhone 11 Pro Max when the iPhone 12 range launched in 2020. Similarly, with the launch and release of Apples new iPhone 13 lineup, a selection of iPhone 12 models are no longer available via Apples official store.
This is good and bad news for iPhone users. Its bad because, oftentimes, when a new iPhone series launch arrives, the price of Apples outgoing iPhones goes down. This has happened with the iPhone 12 and the iPhone SE 2020 ;both of which are still available via Apples store.
The bad news is that Apple is not selling the iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 12 Pro Max anymore, so if you were waiting for the arrival of the iPhone 13 to pick up a cheaper iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 12 Pro Max, youre out of luck.

iPhone 12 Pro Max Camera

The Wide lens in the iPhone 12 Pro Max has the same f/1.6 aperture, but it’s using a 47 percent larger sensor with bigger pixels that lets in a lot more light. Apple says low-light photos taken with the iPhone 12 Pro Max are 87 percent better, and images also feature more detail and better color.
The Telephoto camera has a longer focal length, allowing for 5x zoom instead of 4x zoom, and the Ultra Wide camera is the same between both models.
Notably, the Wide camera of the iPhone 12 Pro Max supports sensor-shift optical stabilization, a feature that’s previously been limited to DSLRs. Sensor-shift optical stabilization, as the name suggests, stabilizes just the sensor, allowing it to be kept steadier than before.
With this feature, the iPhone 12 Pro Max has much better optical image stabilization that cuts down on camera shake and blur from movement.
