How Big Is The Xbox Series X
The Xbox Series X is almost as heavy as the original PlayStation 3.
Microsoft has provided dimension information for the Xbox Series S and Series X with more details about the systems and their specifications. Alongside what comes in the box, the key takeaway is how much these systems weigh, and the Series X is particularly heavy. We also know exactly how large the system will be so you know if it will fit in your setup.
Portraits Shot With The iPhone X
Both rear cameras include optical image stabilization, versus just the one for the Plus, which generally means both finally perform similarly. A close-up 2x shot of a skeleton on my porch at night looked as good as a wide-angle shot. It changes the way I shoot photos. Which One Looks Better
When it comes to looks, the iPhone X is a standout. Like the new Galaxy models, the iPhone X has opted to focus on screen-size-first design. The side bezels have been all but eliminated and the smartphone has a screen-only feel. The 5.8-inch OLED display is a little larger than the 7 Plus display, but the phone itself is much smaller, which means you get a big screen without having a big phone.
In addition to dropping the somewhat bulky bezels of the iPhone 7 and 8 models, the iPhone X has completely abandoned the home button. This means that the only non-screen elements on the front of the phone are the ultra-slim bezels and a notch for the front camera and some sensors. Losing the home button was a bold move by Apple and was met with mixed reactions some love it, some dont. But if the screen-to-body ratio is an important selling point for you, the iPhone Xs ratio is one of the best on the market: 82%.
The back of the device is a throwback to the iPhone 4 released back in 2011. Apple has dropped the aluminum back for a glass one. This adds a little weight to the device and introduces some durability concerns. Apple states that the top quality glass is hardy enough for consumers. Naturally, its not as durable as aluminium but the glass black is more conductive, which enables fast and easy wireless charging. The glass also looks incredibly beautiful and glossy, which some consumers have been missing since the iPhone 4.

The iPhone 11 Pro has a distinct advantage over the iPhone X with its triple rear cameras, which include an ultra-wide lens that can produce more dramatic-looking shots. The iPhone X makes do with a standard wide camera and telephoto lens. Apple goes even further on the iPhone 11 Pro with improved HDR, a new Night mode and Deep Fusion for offering unparalleled levels of detail.
The iPhone 11 Pro’s Night mode is a real standout feature compared to the iPhone X. You’ll see much better results in low light, as evidenced by this comparison shot taken of a candle and surrounding decorations.
Not only is the wick of the candle more visible in the iPhone 11 Pro’s shot, you can make out the placemat in the foreground and the golden decorations surrounding the candle. With the iPhone X’s photo, nearly everything except the candle itself is shrouded in darkness.
The iPhone Xs Max Behemoth Shown From Every Angle
The iPhone XS starts at $999, £999 or AU$1,629 for a 64GB model, while the iPhone XS Max costs $1,099, £1,099 or AU$1,799 for 64GB.
All three new phones have a new A12 Bionic processor that Apple claims is 15 percent faster than last year’s A11 chip in the iPhone X.
The iPhone XR has a single rear camera, and the XS and XS Max both have dual rear cameras like the iPhone X.

How are 10 years of development celebrated? With a phone with the right features. This is exactly what we see in the iPhone X. After several years of adhering to the same design, Apple has finally decided to meet the expectations of its millions of fans around the world. It released the anniversary iPhone X. It is a smartphone with a completely new design, as well as a new technology for biometric identification Face ID, which replaces the usual fingerprint scanner.
iPhone X Vs iPhone 1: Should You Upgrade

Ultimately, I expect the iPhone X to iPhone 11 upgrade path to be common this year, but if you can hold out, it might be wise to do so. A Quick Word About Weight
I wanted to note something about the weight. Think about the phones Ive said I believe iPhone 13 mini is most likely to replace:
- iPhone 6s: 143g.
- iPhone X: 174g.
- iPhone 13 mini: 141g.
Apple has clearly decided that devices in this size bracket should weigh around 140g. As a reference point, the first-ever 2007 iPhone weighed 135g.
The iPhone 13 Pro Max provides a better display, a more powerful camera and a 6.7-in. screen, but in a device that weighs 238-grams. You can feel that difference.
An observation: the 5.4-in. display in the mini is marginally smaller than the 5.5-in. iPhone 7 Plus was when it was introduced as the biggest Apple smartphone display yet.
The iPhone 7 Plus weighed 188 grams and its dimensions were 158.2mm x 77.9mm x 7.3mm: In other words, youre getting almost as much display in a smaller device if you upgrade from an iPhone 7 Plus to an iPhone 13 mini mainly thanks to the use of FaceID.

What’s All This About Hundredweight
Oh yeah. Our first definition explained that both the old / American ton is 20 hundredweight, and the newer / British tonne is also 20 hundredweight. It’s just that the two systems define a hundredweight differently.
Simply put, there are 100 pounds to a hundredweight in the American system, while in the British system, there are 112 pounds to a hundredweight.
That means that the short ton is 2000lbs while the long ton is 2240lbs.

Face ID is the new way to unlock the iPhone X, iPhone XS, XS Max and XR and Apple has put a lot of emphasis on getting it right. All processing is done on the device rather than via a server meaning you’ll be able to unlock the phone regardless of your connection to the outside world – and without sharing your face data anywhere else.
Setting it up takes about 30 seconds and once enabled, you will have to actively look at the sensor array at the top of the device to unlock your phone. You’ll still need a PIN as backup too. In the real world it’s worked 9.5 times out of 10 for us. It’s not perfect, but it’s very good and it’s significantly improved since the iPhone X first launched.
The technology behind Face ID scans and maps your face with 30,000 dots checking for depth so you can’t spoof it with a picture and it must be able to see your eyes, nose, and mouth. That’s fine with a wig, hat, most sunglasses, or a scarf for example, but covering up your mouth with the scarf will cause it not to work. This is a different to the face recognition or iris scanning you’ll find elsewhere.
Where we’ve found Face ID doesn’t work though is when the iPhone X is out of line of sight like on your desk next to your laptop or keyboard.

The iPhone 11 Has Superior Battery Life And A 128gb Storage Option
We’ve covered the differences in the exteriors of both the iPhone X and iPhone 11, but there’s a key difference internally, and that’s the aforementioned chipset. At the heart of the iPhone X is the A11 bionic chip, which was Apple’s most advanced processor at the time of its launch. Fast forward to 2021, and the A11 chipset is still a speedy processor. The iPhone 11, meanwhile, houses the more power efficient A13 chip, which is also found on the other members of the iPhone 11 family . Apple claims it boosted the iPhone 11’s performance by at least 20% over the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR, which used the A12. That includes the speed of the main processor brains and its special-purpose engines for graphics and AI. When we ran processing performance speeds on 3DMark and Geekbench 5, the iPhone 11 came away with the win as expected, but the iPhone X held up well.
As usual, Apple didn’t disclose battery capacity figures, but reports point to the iPhone X carrying a smaller 2,716-mAh battery, while the iPhone 11’s equipped with a 3,110-mAh battery. In our video playback tests that loops video while on airplane mode, we found that the iPhone 11 lasted 15 hours, 24 minutes. Meanwhile, the iPhone X lasted 11 hours, 45 minutes.

The iPhone X is powered by Apple A11 Bionic processor, while the iPhone 11 packs the newer A13 Bionic processor. If youre using an iPhone X, it likely hasnt started to slow down at all, as the A11 Bionic processor is incredibly powerful. If youre looking for a speed boost, you might notice one going from the iPhone X to the iPhone 11, but it likely wouldnt impact your day-to-day usage much at all.
The biggest difference between the iPhone X and the iPhone 11 is the display technology. The iPhone 11 features an LCD Liquid Retina panel with a 1792×828 resolution, whereas the iPhone X features an OLED display with a resolution of 2436×1125, for 458 pixels-per-inch.
Apples Liquid Retina display technology is quite advanced for an LCD panel, but if youve been using an iPhone X since 2017, youll likely notice a slight difference in color and brightness compared to the LCD panel of the iPhone 11.
