When Is The Next Apple Event We Will Likely Have To Wait Until Next Year

Since Apple’s October event was its fourth launch this year, it’s likely we won’t see Apple host another event until the spring of 2022.

Apple typically hosts three to four events every year, usually including a spring event, a summer developer conference and one or two more events in the fall. The fall events are often held in September and October and tend to feature new iPhones and Apple Watch upgrades, while the October event typically features new Macs and iPads.

With that history in mind, the next Apple event is likely to take place in the spring of 2022, perhaps in March or April. However, it’s also possible that whatever products or announcements the company has ready next spring will be announced without the hoopla of a live event, in which case we’re looking at June for Apple’s annual WWDC.

Stay up-to-date on the latest news, reviews and advice on iPhones, iPads, Macs, services and software.

Apple’s event pattern slightly shifted in 2020 due to production delays during the pandemic. Last year’s September Apple event revealed the Apple Watch 6, Apple Watch SE and — but no new iPhone. The company later took the wraps off the iPhone 12 in October. Last year’s Apple event, and subsequent events this year, were also online-only due to the pandemic. A livestream was available as usual through the company’s website.

As the pandemic continues to affect many, we’ll have to wait and see if Apple will return for an in-person event next year or continue to be virtual-only.

iPhone Release Dates: When Will The iPhone 13 Arrive

  • How Many Americans Will Buy a New iPhone This Year?
  • Since the iPhone 12 5G smartphone took world by storm, the next question on everyone’s lips is: when will the iPhone 13 be available, and what can we expect to see?

All indications are that the iPhone 13 will drop on September 14, 2021. While the iPhone 13 may not be the leap in the future of models past, it will almost certainly feature a bigger battery and superior camera. If you’re ready to upgrade and willing to pony up for the typically expensive super computer, er, iPhone, then this the 13 is a no brainer.

WhistleOut is on the case with all of the info you need about the iPhone 13.

Is The iPhone 13 For You

    Here

The iPhone 13 is a powerful and capable device. But if you’re like most people, you probably don’t need to upgrade your smartphone every year.

While Apple fans may argue that every new iPhone is the latest and greatest, in recent years each upgrade has proved to be an iteration on the previous model not a breakthrough. If you have one of the latest models, such as the iPhone 12 or even the iPhone 11, don’t feel pressured to upgrade, even if you lack 5G capability. While 5G is indeed a transformational technology that has the potential to enable lots of cool innovations, its rollout has been slow it’s not even available yet in most markets.

But there are two groups of customers who might find the iPhone 13 especially the Pro and Pro Max models to be more essential: parents and people who work remotely. You can’t retake photos of your kids and the new cameras take spectacular photos. Remote and hybrid workers will appreciate multitasking with the faster processor and Center Stage video calls.

“The iPhone 13 announcement is almost counterintuitively important,” said Apple analyst Rene Ritchie. “The focus is on the processor, camera and radio updates rather than big design changes. It’s not as flashy as a redesigned phone, but the additional power and 5G features are significant for a lot of people.”

    iPhone 13 Review: Verdict

The iPhone 13 improves on what was already the best iPhone for most people by introducing a bunch of welcome enhancements. I especially like the longer battery life, as the iPhone 12s endurance was underwhelming even for a 5G phone. I wouldnt recommend that iPhone 12 owners upgrade to the new iPhone, but the iPhone 13 is worth it if you own an iPhone 11 or older device.

I dont think many people will care about the smaller notch. What truly stands out on the iPhone 13 is the camera. The low-light performance is even better now, and computational photography features like Cinematic mode and Photographic styles flex the A15 Bionics muscles in ways that go way beyond benchmarks.

Im also glad Apple doubled the starting storage at 128GB, as that move was overdue and puts the new iPhone on a par with Android flagships. Id like to see Apple offering faster charging next time around be it via USB-C or MagSafe as well as a 120Hz display.

The bottom line is that the iPhone 13 is a fantastic phone and raises the bar for what you think a camera phone can do.

When Will The iPhone 13 Be In Stores

All four models of the iPhone 13 are available to preorder starting Friday, Sept. 17 and will ship starting Friday, Sept. 24. Apple announced that preorders for all iPhone 13 models will begin at 5 a.m. PT . There are a number of deals and carrier discounts available as well, which could bring the cost of the new iPhone down to $0.

What Will The iPhone 12 Cost

The iPhone 12 price starts at $799 / £799 / AU$1,349, which is $100 / £70 / AU$150 more than the iPhone 11 range. Thats likely due in part to the cost of adding in a 5G modem, but also because the iPhone 12 mini is grabbing that iPhone 11 price point, starting from $699 / £699 / AU$1,199.

Apple Unveils The iPhone 1: Here’s What’s New And What It’ll Cost

    iPhone 13 coming out soon

Apple’s iPhone 13, unveiled to the usual fanfare in a virtual event earlier this week, is available for pre-order starting today. The lineup includes several models, while Apple also announced a redesigned Apple Watch and new IPads.

Here’s what you need to know about the iPhone 13 and Apple’s other new gear:

    • iPhone 13 will be released for pre-order on Friday, September 17. The full iPhone 13 lineups will be available in stores and delivered to customers beginning September 24.

    • Like last year’s model, the iPhone 13 is available in four sizes and a range of colors. Pricing for the base model of the new flagship phone will start at $699 for 128 GB of storage. The larger, more powerful iPhone Pro and Pro Max will start at $999 for 128 GB storage. Apple will also continue to sell the compact iPhone Mini, which usually retails for about $100 less than the base model.

    • Although the latest design is similar to last year’s iPhone 12, the new device features several enhancements including a zippy new A15 Bionic processor, improved cameras and a smaller front-facing sensor notch.

    • The iPhone 13 also includes improved 5G capabilities. Last year’s iPhone, which introduced the new faster wireless network, sold more than 100 million units. But the new iPhone 13 will help 5G find an even wider audience this year and next, said Dan Ives, an Apple analyst for Wedbush Securities, in a report. It also should help further boost Apple’s stock market value.

How Much Will The iPhone 13 Cost

A report from Digitimes on 26 August 2021 claims Apple plans to raise prices for the new models of iPhone. The reason for the price increase is said to be the global chip shortage, which has caused component prices to skyrocket. Read: iPhone 13 will be more expensive than iPhone 12.

Not everyone agrees though. Researchers at TrendForce indicate that the iPhone 13 is likely to have similar pricing to the iPhone 12 series, with a starting price of around £799/$799. They said: “The iPhone 13 series is expected to remain similar to the iPhone 12 series assuming Apple is able to effectively control manufacturing costs, since the latest models do not come with significant hardware upgrades. As a result of this aggressive pricing scheme, iPhone shipment will likely maintain its growth trajectory for two consecutive years.” More here: iPhone 13 ‘will cost the same as iPhone 12’.

iPhone pricing can be something of a moveable feast. The past few standard models have come with the following price tags:

    • iPhone X: £999/$999
    • iPhone 11: £729/$699
    • iPhone 12: £799/$799

Now, the introduction of the iPhone Pro range that coincided with the iPhone 11 does explain the sudden drop, as it marks a bifurcation of the lineup. But, as you can see, the price of the iPhone 12 jumps up by £70/$100 when compared to its predecessor.

At the moment the range has a pattern that we think Apple may be settling on, with the following tiers:

Apples iPhone 12 might have been released just a few months ago but fans are already excited about the next version on the line – the iPhone 13. iPhone 13 Review: Camera And Video

The rear camera system in the iPhone 13 isnt very different from the iPhone 12 or even the iPhone 11 when you look at the headline features: a dual-camera setup, with one wide-angle lens and one ultra-wide lens, both with a 12MP sensor.

But the performance here is noticeable improvement over the iPhone 12 in a lot of situations, and a big step up from the iPhone 11 .

Its all about how the cameras work: the sensors let in more light this time, which means they can capture more realistic colours and sharper details, and can take clearer low-light shots.

Adding to the low-light improvement is the new sensor-shift image stabilization, which means that the iPhone can use a slower shutter speed for low-light shots, because when your hand shakes subtly during the photo, the phone actually moves the sensor in the opposite direction to cancel it out, avoiding any smearing.

Apple has also upgraded its image processing and added a new Photographic Styles feature. These basically allow you to choose different presets for how the iPhone processes the image you can shot them more to your taste without applying a filter after. Filters are dumb, and work on the whole photo equally Photographic Styles are smarter, with different parts of the shots being handled differently, so they can do things like make colors bolder without changing skin tones.

The iPhone 13 handles exposure extremely well and allows you to create great shots in any light.

Is the iPhone 13 series coming out in India 2021 TrendingJagat

The “iPhone 13” is expected in the fall of 2021 with a number of user-facing changes that could improve the overall iPhone experience. Early in the rumor cycle more extreme changes were expected, but as time went on, rumored updates became more realistic.

When the iPhone 12 first debuted in 2020, there were already whispers of a 2021 iPhone with no Lightning port and no notch. Now, expectations are a little more grounded with upgrades to the cameras and displays.

Apple keeps the naming schemes of the future iPhone locked down, so we refer to the 2021 iPhone as the “iPhone 13.” This may not be its final name due to any number of reasons including superstition or a complete revamp of Apple’s naming conventions. It is just as likely that Apple could call this device the “iPhone 12S.”

Supposed packaging with the “iPhone 13” name has been leaked. It confirms that Apple is expected to go with the superstitious number for its next name.

Another leak shows MagSafe case packaging with the name, further solidifying the rumor.

iPhone 13 Release Date And Price

The iPhone 13 series was announced on September 14 at the company’s launch event, with pre-orders opening on September 17. The iPhone 13 release date is September 24, and unlike with 2020’s iPhone 12 series you’ll be able to buy the new handsets on the same day.

The iPhone 13 starts at $799 / £779 / AU$1,349, which is the same price as the iPhone 12 in the US and Australia, and a touch cheaper in the UK. The iPhone 12 cost $799 / £799 / AU$1,349 at launch.

Youll get 128GB of storage for that price Apple has dropped its 64GB models this year, and not before time. If you need more storage, the 256GB iPhone 13 costs $899 / £879 / AU$1,519, while the 512GB model costs $1,099 / £1,079 / AU$1,869.

If those prices are a bit of a stretch, the iPhone 13 mini has similar specs but is a not-insignificant amount cheaper, starting at $699 / £679 / AU$1,199, while going in the other direction youve got the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max if youre looking for higher specs and, in the case of the latter phone, a larger screen.

What Are The iPhone 13 Pro Specs

Last year’s upgrades to the base model iPhones put it in close competition with the full-powered iPhone Pro line-up. However, this year saw significant upgrades to the iPhone 13 Pro making it the smartphone to buy. The new graphics processor in the A15 Bionic chip includes five cores on iPhone 13 Pro models instead of four, possibly because of the 120Hz ProMotion display that speeds up the refresh rate for smooth motion and slows it down as low as 10Hz to save battery life.

Cinematic Mode uses onboard AI to track your subject being recorded and adjusts the focus in real-time for video recording. When this mode is enabled, you can only record at 1080p instead of the normal 4K. This year, the iPhone 13 Pro comes in four sophisticated case colours: graphite, silver, gold, and new sierra blue. The storage options remain with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB, but a new 1TB option exclusive to the Pro model enables hours of recording even with the upcoming ProRes video support.

iPhone 13 Pro: Same Phone Smaller Screen

The iPhone 13 Pro, which starts at $999, is effectively the same phone as the iPhone 13 Pro Max, with slightly less battery life and a smaller 6.1-inch screen. You still get the fancy high-refresh-rate display, and the cameras are exactly the same.

The battery life is a little worse but still solid. In my tests, I used it with the screen on for six hours, watching a movie three times on repeat and using it for other things, and still had 28% battery left. Most people should be fine getting through a full day.

If you’re interested in the most advanced phone technology from Apple but don’t want an enormous screen, get this version.

The iPhone 13, which starts at $799, is a solid phone, but lacks the most advanced features found in the Pro models.

    Here are the main differences:

    • No new ProMotion display. But the display is brighter than last year, which means it’s easier to see outdoors when it’s sunny.
    • Storage maxes out at 512GB instead of 1TB.
    • No dedicated zoom camera.
    • Less battery life, though still an improvement over last year’s models.
    • One less GPU core for gaming and video rendering — most people probably won’t notice it missing.
    • The screens get bright but not as bright as the Pro models during normal usage.

Still, Apple made a lot of upgrades between the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13, like adding twice the storage on the entry-level model, new cameras, improved battery life, an updated processor, brighter screens and 5G support in more countries.

    No More Lightning Port

    iPhone 13 – LATEST NEWS!

One of the stranger rumours that seems to be picking up traction is that Apple will ditch the Lightning port on the iPhone 13 and feature no ports at all.

Rather than rely on cables for charging, all power will be delivered wirelessly. This would instantly render many accessories and power banks redundant, but Apple has never been shy about making unpopular decisions in the past.

There’s also an interesting sidebar to this issue, which is that the EU has been on the warpath for a while about proprietary charging standards, and it looks like a draft law forcibly standardising smartphone ports will happen in 2021.

In theory this could oblige Apple to produce a USB-C iPhone for sale in Europe – and even more theoretically, could encourage it to base all its new iPhones on USB-C so as to avoid the production inefficiency of making more than one design. But it’s hard to see a company as large and powerful as Apple bowing to mid-level political pressure in this way.

Our suspicion is that the portless iPhone, discussed by fans for so long, will not become a reality for some time yet. One day it will happen, but we doubt that day will be in 2021.

And finally, there’s just time for a quick mention of MagSafe. Not the MagSafe standard used by the iPhone 12 and family to attach wireless chargers to their rear, but a new magnetic cable standard that’s far closer to the old MagSafe used by MacBooks.

Actually, it’s probably easier if you look at this illustration:
